When you’re in a Sunshine State™ of mind, try our “Tropical Cucumber Salad”.
The Sunshine State™ infuses kombucha, mango, and key lime with a premium distilled vodka for a hint of vacation in every sip. This recipe from Eating Well Magazine pairs perfectly with the refreshing, slightly tangy and tropical flavors of Sunshine State™… and adding it to the dressing is a game changer!
- 2 oz of Kombucha Cocktails Sunshine State™
- 3-5 teaspoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated lime zest, plus more for garnish
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 2 teaspoons light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1 medium English cucumber, cut into 3/4-inch dice
- 1 avocado, cut into 3/4-inch dice
- 1 mango, cut into 3/4-inch dice
Directions: Whisk fish sauce to taste, lime zest, Sunshine State™, lime juice, oil, brown sugar, vinegar and crushed red pepper in a large bowl until combined. Add cucumber, avocado, mango and cilantro; gently toss to coat. Serve garnished with lime zest, if desired.

In our Mindful Mule™, we swapped out the high-calorie, high-sugar ginger beer mixer for effervescent kombucha to bring you a great-tasting spin on a classic cocktail. This 15-minute sesame-ginger noodle recipe from Choosing Chia is perfect for on-the-go lifestyles and elevates the Mindful Mule’s ginger and lime undertones.
- ½ pack brown rice noodles (or regular rice noodles, about 8oz)
- 3 cups of baby bok choy
- 1 thinly sliced green onion
- Sesame seeds to top (optional)
- 2 oz of Kombucha Cocktails Mindful Mule
- 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 3 tbsp light soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp crushed red chilis
Directions: Wash your bok choy, and chop into quarters. Set aside. In a small bowl, mix your sauce ingredients together, and set aside. Boil your rice noodles according to package directions, until soft. In a saucepan on medium heat, pour your sauce in and allow to begin to cook, 1-2 minutes. Next add in your bok choy and green onion, mixing well. Reduce heat to low and add in your rice noodles. Toss together and serve!
